Navigating your Medicaid Coverage – By Anonymous

Being able to use our insurance for our local pediatrician and Mental and Behavioral Health resources has been a blessing for our family. Although my experience with postpartum with my last child was not positive, our care following that experience has improved. Being able to receive virtual visits for myself helps me provide the best care for my kids, who are my everything.

Letting other parents know about the opportunities available for them not only locally but through their Medicaid coverage is something I feel comfortable doing. There are many programs offered that families don’t know about. They offer things like mileage vouchers, diaper programs, and choices like a free play-yard, highchair, or car seat! More parents need to be aware of these programs without having to read through all the lines.
