Overcoming the Struggles – By Steffanie

I struggled for years trying to juggle being a full-time mom and having some kind of income to support my kids. Pre-K wasn’t an available option in our town, and we had moved from another state, so I had no idea where to even find the resources that I needed.  

I am currently finishing up 3 years on the Birth to Five Illinois Family Council, where we worked on getting information out more and coming up with more resources to help support the families in our community.
