A family of three hugging. A quote from the story is at the bottom. The Illinois map with a Region highlighted in blue is to the right.

We started out using Early Intervention in DeKalb County after a 99-day NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) stay. Our miracle boy was born with a rare condition that has required multiple surgeries, hospitalizations, countless doctor appointments, and many therapies. Liam receives Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Feeding, and Speech all through Early Intervention.

Early Intervention has been such a blessing to us. Thankfully, we did not have any waitlist time, as Lurie helped to make sure Liam's services could continue shortly after going home. Both Early Intervention services through DeKalb County and now also Ogle County have helped Liam so much. We are very thankful and so proud of the progress he has made and continues to make through these services.
