As a new mom, I think about my own experience with therapy. I was not able to build an open relationship with my therapist, so I didn’t feel it was a good use of my time. As time goes on, if my son needed any Mental and Behavioral Health resources, I wouldn’t be opposed to the idea. I would just hope he had a better experience than I did. As I learn of more resources and therapy options in our Region, I would be willing to try again.

My son and I are lucky to have a lot of help from our family for all our needs. I know not everyone has that, but we do, and I am thankful for that. As he gets older, I know I will be in need of more resources, but currently, we are well taken care of.
