Great Resources vs. Ability to Access Resources - By Inari Rivera

I moved to this area in 2005, and I have had 3 children since. I prefer to stay home for their child care because of the high cost. We do enjoy the great parks we have near us and the libraries. The YMCA having child care is great for me, because they can go play while I get to work out. I love having that available for all of us.

Public transportation is a huge issue in our area. Cab services are very expensive, and I just recently learned about NCAT [North Central Area Transit] and am hoping to use it more frequently and save some money. I didn’t even know NCAT was an option for my family. Word of mouth is how I hear about most opportunities and resources in our area. I also share these helpful things with other parents.
