Childcare Group Receives Grant

Crawford County Kids Association recently received $64,000 to help continue the work they are doing to support early childhood education and care in Crawford County.

CCKA is headed by Resa Shaner who, along with its board, has written for and received multiple grants and subcontracts through Birth to Five Illinois.

Birth to Five Illinois seeks to create a more equitable early childhood education and Care system that respects family and community voice and works to ensure it is centered and prioritized at every level of decision-making in Illinois.
