Birth to Five Illinois is hosting a Healthy Kids Day Family Resource Fair from 9 a.m. to noon this Saturday, April 26, at the Monroe County YMCA-HTC Center, 9514 Caring Way, Columbia. There will be plenty of activities for kids, more than 25 local resources, free vision screenings, and a complimentary Shriners Children’s Hospital orthopedic screening. I’ve attended this event the past few years, and I can testify it is informative to me as a parent and also a great way to spending a Saturday morning with the kiddos.
