What Birth to Five Illinois Does
Birth to Five Illinois elevates the voices of families, child care providers, and educators to improve access to early childhood programs in Illinois by promoting the values of Family Voice, Racial Equity, and Collective Impact.
The nonprofit works with parents, caregivers, and educators in Rock Island County to determine what kinds of barriers they are facing when trying to access Early Childhood Education (ECE) services.
We then relay that information to state and local leaders to help them allocate resources where families and teachers say they are needed most.
