Finding an Outlet – By HopeElizabeth S

We have had a hard time finding easy access to children's programs that would benefit our baby (9 months) and toddler (2 years) and keep him engaged. He has so much energy and we haven't found many activities for him to participate in with other children his age, to get that energy out.

I have joined Facebook groups and local event pages. I have asked around to other parents in the area. I think a Park Play Day, or another type of play day event held monthly, or weekly/bi-weekly could be a fun way for the kids to burn off some energy. It could also be a way for parents to connect to each other, without the pressure of having to get the kids home after daycare/work/etc.

A photo of two adults and three children sitting close to each other and laughing. A quote from the story is at the bottom. The Illinois map with a Region highlighted in blue is to the right.
