Needing More Help in the Mackinaw Area – By Anonymous

Our area doesn’t really offer early childhood education. The school district does if your child is developmentally delayed. When I called the school to find out about screening, she asked if my child was behind or if I felt she was. And when I told her no, she then responded with, “if your child is not delayed then the program is not available to you.”  

I feel they should offer pre-K to all children within the school district, not just children that are delayed.
