Post COVID Child Care – By Alison Vrana

One of our challenges was finding reliable child care after COVID shut down the program in our town. Although we eventually found someone, Birth to Five Illinois gave me a chance to help connect other families like ours to more providers. I was able to lend my voice to the Birth to Five Illinois Family Council and help build the OWL (Ogle, Whiteside & Lee) resource page. I hope that this new resource helps families find child care providers more easily and helps those providers connect with families in need.
